The first time you innovate something, or an exceptional iteration of that, is a valuable thing…. And a lot of gamers legitimately don’t “get” this. Nintendo does. Even when they falter they still know. Miyamoto himself mentioned something was “missing” from Zelda TP. Because it’s not really much of an iteration at all. And that’s how I feel about many shitcube games: Wave Race, Mario Kart, Star Fox, Mario, Zelda were all better on N64. Not “better for their time.” BETTER. This is totally unacceptable and is why the console failed. Subjectively also hated Prime btw.
One YouTube Loser made an incisive video on something recently where he said gamers are basically ADHD or autistic. The latter really like shit like pokemon where its The Same. I put Mario Sunshine on that category on some ways even though it tries to be a little different from 64. |
