Date: July 13th, 2026 4:45 PM Author: zarathustra among other things i have it scanning some financial data for which i have set a minimum $ threshold for relevance. i opened a new chat to ask for general criticism and advice on my project and it criticized me for going too slow and that it could use its own judgment rather than accept all the manual settings i'm working into my project. i gave it a shot to do its own work and it completely blew through all the conditions i set to make really shitty judgments. i chastised it for this and said it was ignoring the manual conditions i was setting based on my own judgment calls and that it was proving my point that i needed to be more methodical and hands-on rather than just accept the AI's judgment. it came back at me and said it proved its own relevance by doing the mock run and breaking the thresholds so that i had a chance to confirm that i did in fact want those thresholds in place, which i knew beforehand anyways and didn't need to confirm through evaluating the AI's own shitty judgment. want to shove a corn cob up its ass.
