you don't get it, do you? xo is about building a community and creating and contributing to content. derailing good threads with your sci fi garbage, and then blank bumping it yourself when nobody notices it, is not content creation. xo not a place for you "to do your thing." xo is not a place for you to "com[e] here to write." xo is a place for you to create content and scholarship and be a part of this autistic community. go take a writing class at your local CC and submit your work work to some sci fi journal.

Date: November 2nd, 2025 6:36 PM Author: Snowy Heaven the issue with the forum is never that there's too much content going on it's generally that people are way too mean and niggling with each other, which creates the scarcity of content. NM writes some good and often educational stuff with very niche sourcing and does it out of passion which even when a particular bit flops makes it still entertaining or edifying to read if you have a guy that can write in couplets and pentameter and can crank out a pretty good piece in a particular style within a few minutes of Poast T-0 i'd say that guy is an asset. there are a half dozen pumos i'd axe before getting rid of him i will agree that sometimes the scifi framing is long in the tooth though and it's not always enjoyable to parse. also if we're all jewish we can just discuss jewish apocrypha instead and that often fills the same niche |
