And they made up a "test" where you just scream in someone's face and shake them and look at their eyes, and if they are unresponsive (perhaps because they're still in shock as a result of their horrific accident) they're "brain-dead." If they don't have family it's straight to the operating room.

are you the op?

i know it's sick and demented, but when i read about that pornstar who went to rehab and ended up in the hospital as some sort of trapped consciousness, i couldn't stop wondering about what kinds of shit was going down with her after visiting hours.

you hear about developmentally disabled girls being impregnated in hospitals and care facilities...and then there's this chick who was hot enough to literally get fucked for a living.

...hi, who just joined?

Yep I'm the OP. Exactly, I've heard multiple horror stories of comatose and/or developmentally disabled girls and women being hella raped in hospitals. You're not sick to think that; it's a natural concern.

Renowned neuroscientist Christof Koch advocates for "covert consciousness," noting that up to 25% of unresponsive brain-injured or coma patients retain subjective awareness despite being unable to move or communicate. His work focuses on bridging the gap between clinical unresponsiveness and internal experience.
