you can just use ublock origin "lite" though and it still works just fine on all ads
idk about facebook specifically but i'm not over the age of 65 nor do i live in a third world country so i don't use facebook

I don't think you get it
The problem is that Facebook is getting so good at obfuscating their ad delivery that the adblocker developers are giving up on blocking ads on Facebook.
Pretty soon it will be more than Facebook that the devs give up on.
