Anyway, I gtfo'd and went to Mobile. I used to drive through town without stopping, figuring it mostly a violent african hellhole. It probably is, but it's honest. There is no New Orleans pretense. Mobile has not created a curated "danger zone", watched over by cops. Its just dangerous. It has probably better architecture than Nola, but there are no faggots primping it.

Absolutely everyone is broke, but unlike Nola they are not sophisticated enough to resent your money, or devise ways to scam you out of it.
