Do you feel older or younger than your bio-age?

part of me feels ancient - not because i'm somehow superior to others, but because i'm spent a tremendous amount of time and energy delving into some pretty gnarly aspects about human nature and the world in general
part feels my age or older - i run "hot" where i'm constantly in analytic mode, which puts substantial somatic pressure on my body. and i can't lose weight
part of me feels really young - with a non-redemptive worldview, i no longer expect to be redeemed or saved in the future, which otherwise contributes substantially to aging when hopes for that stuff don't materialize. so i can live much more in the moment

That said I often see people and think they look older than me but in reality balding doods with 2 young kids could easily be a few years younger than me, which is weird. The other day a cashier was running my id and commented that I didn't look 40. She was purple haired and fat but it still took me off guard. You should see the current State of 32x home brew. The level of Engineering prowess is unfathomable. Liberal artists have the same drive but they do it with liberal arts. But I just don’t know what the fuck anyone sees in “human nature” of all things. 99% of behavior is just phenotype expression. The Clique that you were in in School is highly salient imho.
I think with MIG does is less of a waste of time than what you do. Liberal arts, but putting “humanity” and its bs aside and just focusing on extremely abstruse, unimportant liberal arts rabbit holes w/r/t the Divine. |
