We just had an event where we got to meet all the parents and it's a mix. A lot of clean cut skinny blonde moms, FL style. Very young. There was one dad with big muscles and tattoos. There's one black kid whose dad drives some sort of delivery truck.

Originally we had zero plans to rely on daycare but we had an au pair that needed to LIVE HER DREAMS which meant leaving us early and with only like 10 days notice. We weren't going to get a new au pair that fast, but we found this Montessori daycare nearby. It turned out that she just loved it. They spend the day playing, mostly outside and she enjoyed the other kids and the toys that they rotate, so even though we did get a new au pair she still kept going to daycare. But daycares close and kids in daycare get sick so you still need an au pair. Honestly, I don't know how normal parents handle just relying on daycare. Protip: most doctors are autistic freaks so their kids would tend to be exactly the same regardless. Honestly, I'm surprised that she is as social and outgoing as she is but you can rest assured that spending more time with us (2 autistic freaks) wouldn't do much to avoid what you're describing. |

The other doctors I work with have like infant kids with a million food allergies, always sick, and aren't even walking or babbling yet just because their retard parents are obsessed with prestige.
You should just move rural for a few years so mandy can be a full time mom. |

She has zero food allergies. She does occasionally get sick because yeah, she is always around a bunch of kids. But her immune system is really strong and she gets over things quickly. And we have an au pair at home so if she needs to take a break she can do that. She was home on Monday because she had a cough that sounded pretty bad. By Tuesday she was asking to go back to school. Not sure why you think prestige has anything to do with this.
I'll give you the other side. She is extremely athletic. Not only does she walk (can do over a mile straight without taking a break) and run (and fast), but she is awesome at controlling a soccer ball (regulation size 5, not just a size 1 or 3) and will happily throw a ball for long periods of time. She is also happy to just meet kids and start playing with them. You can tell the kids that aren't in a school environment because they are always terrified. Yesterday she met some older boys (like 4 and 7?) that decided to play with her and she actually ran around with them and had fun. Neither of us had that confidence at her age (just turned 2 this summer).
Mandy has zero desire to be a full-time mom and I do more parent stuff than she does. If someone was forced to quit she would make sure that it was me. As it is I'm full-time WFH and I pick her up every day and at work people often see her saying hi on webcam. |
