I find most men in LTRs really don't give a fuck about much. They want their wife to shut up, be good at sex, and be agreeable. So you're probably not the unhappy one. You have to figure out what it is that she wants you to do, and decide if you can do it. I was in a perfectly happy relationship for years and my ex deeply truly wanted me to take her to Disneyland all the time so she could be a Disney adult. No matter how ridiculous this is, this is why she was mad at me all the time.

4. To what extent are the issues your fault? Hers? Both?
5. My only advice is that people almost never meaningfully change. If anything, they just become more of who they already are. So, you can accept whatever is going on and work within the confines of that reality. Or, you can hit the bricks. Just don't expect her to start "communicating" better or whatever. LJL at that. One caveat is that having young kids is stressful, and people get back to more of a baseline once they're a little older. (Is that applicable to you?) |
