You ever had a friend who you had to make excuses for all the time? Like you know your other bros don't like him but you were just like "come on, he's OK don't be a dick to him." I think that would explain why Slater perhaps begrudgingly tolerated Zack bringing him around. It never seemed like screech and slater were particularly close friends aside from being in the same social circle.
The girls were outwardly repulsed by him, so it's not like they ever went out of their way to chill with him alone or anything. |
