My HS self would view my job harshly and think of me as a sell out.
However, he wouldn't be able to focus on that because he would see the chick I am currently banging and he would forget everything else and agree that I had indeed MADE IT.

he would be shocked that instead of becoming a scientist or engineer, I entered a "profession" that requires no particular talent or education (well, there are hoops you have to jump through, but you hardly learn anything useful)
then I would have to explain to him that college-level STEM involves a process known as "weeding out." lol

Educationally, yes.
Professionally, probably.
Number of chicks I have fucked, probably.
Friends, yes.
Living in ARE Country, probably a little disappointed.
GF, probably ok with it.
Family relationships, yes.
Different kinds of drugs I have done, disappointed. I was really interested in weird psychedelics in high school.

Interesting question.
I don't think he'd be proud insomuch as satisfied. I remember thinking back then that I'd have to work hard IRL post college and if I did things would be fine, and yep, that's what happened.
What's more interesting to me is observing who else from my class flamed out or did much better than expected. Lesson learned, don't make too many assumptions in high school.
The one thing I didn't fully understand in high school was how much weight you carry in adulthood. Responsibilities, family, career, they all take their toll. Bitching about studying for exams is nothing in comparison.
