Like many Hispanic residents of Florida, Marco Rubio must hold two jobs to support himself and make ends meet. For several hours each morning, he commutes to work at a fast food restaurant in Miami where he operates a deep fryer, grill, and burrito oven for minimum wage.
"I don't like the grill. Sometimes I get burned and the manager says I have to work faster," he said.
"I want more opportunity for myself and my family," he added.
Rubio's second job, as a United States Senator for Florida, requires an even longer commute to Washington, and a full-time commitment for very little pay.
"RNC makes me run campaign, and I don't have time. Yesterday I come in last and they yell at me. This month I don't know if I can pay rent," he said.
